Formula for a better world

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

I was looking at a discussion on ASmallWorld.net where someone asked for radical ideas that people have, humorous or absurd, and some people posted several radical, funny, or downright crazy ideas. I posted my own version of what would be the formula to make this world a better place (at least for me, which is a radical concept already). Here is my list:

  • No speed limits on interstates
  • No drinking age
  • No gun laws
  • No seat belt laws
  • No helmet laws
  • No movie ratings
  • No decency laws
  • Disband and eliminate the Republican Party
  • Do the same to the Democrat Party
  • Eliminate the TSA
  • Eliminate the BATF
  • Limit our total taxes to not more 5% of our total income (If that’s not enough to pay the guys in Washington, too bad)
  • Make anything that replaces the use of fossil fuels 100% tax free
  • Legalize marijuana (I don’t like it, but I think that spending millions of dollars to combat it is pretty silly)
  • Legalize prostitution (that will give the unemployed folks in D.C. something legitimate to do)
  • Ban cigarette smoking
  • Ban religion
  • Ban driving slow on the left lane
  • Send all muslim fundamentalists out of the country
  • Send all christian fundamentalists out of the country
  • Place snipers on the borders to make sure they won’t come back
